Amélie has a green thumb and enjoys time spent in the #HeimspitzGROWerei – the herb and vegetable garden of the hotel.

In summer, the garden and the new field yield a rich harvest forming the foundation of the Heimspitze cuisine.

Loosen the soil. Sow the seeds. Plant the seedlings. Add love. Wait and watch. We are happily watching our plants grow and mature and looking forward to the harvest in the Montafon for the Heimspitz dishes.

Plants

The beginnings of the garden project lie in the first raised bed and the herb baskets. Here we grow salad, vegetables and herbs. Cultivate them lovingly and organically.

Animals

From the Heimspitz stables, home to our Blackneck, to the wild squirrels playing in the surrounding trees, delight in the wonder of all the animals.

Cuisine

The fresh produce from our garden is taken directly to the Heimspitz kitchen after maturing in the Gargellen sun. From there they it goes straight to your plates. And believe it, you will taste the freshness. We also want our sheep herd

to grow to provide us with hyper-locally sourced meat. At the moment we are supplied with fresh seasonal products from farmers of the region – as we cannot grow everything ourselves.

Personalities

Oscar will welcome visitors to the sheep stables. And in Paul – Amélie’s beloved French Bully – you will find another friend. At the Heimspitze, all animals are lovingly cared for by your hosts.
