Fresh ingredients are lovingly nurtured and picked by hand. We love to source the vegetables and herbs for our dishes directly from our #HeimspitzGROWerei – the loving name of our vegetable and herb garden. From garden to table.

Everything we cannot grow ourselves is sourced from local partners who have dedicated themselves to sustainability and preserving nature.

Traditional Schnitzel

Our Heimspitze Restaurant in Gargellen - for gourmets.

The “Schnitzeltag” on Mondays is a beloved and well-known tradition at the Heimspitze. Our kitchen team has the day off. Christian is in the kitchen, expertly pounding the veal and traditionally frying the Schnitzels in clarified butter, while Amélie pampers the guests with friendly service.

At 6:30 pm, the starting signal is given for the typical Austrian 3-course menu with soup, Wiener Schnitzel made from veal, house-style potato salad, and dessert.

Tastes differ, we know that. That’s why we don’t serve a fixed menu, but let you decide. With our half board, you choose your own three courses from our daily menu.

Want a little more? No problem. You’re welcome to add extra courses at the regular menu price.

We serve what nature gives us, seasonal, fresh, and carefully selected. Because we value quality over quantity, your favorite dish might occasionally be sold out later in the evening. When that happens, it simply means demand was greater than the fresh supply.

We are open

Our Heimspitze Restaurant in Gargellen - for gourmets.

When? Wednesday to Sunday, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, we serve a small menu with daily specials, fresh cakes, strudel, and ice cream.

In the evening from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, enjoy à la carte dishes from our Heimspitze-Wirtshaus kitchen. On Saturdays and Sundays, we also serve lunch from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

For whom? For everyone. External guests, house guests, and locals alike.

Monday & Tuesday: Days off. On these days, the restaurant is open exclusively for half-board guests.
